 After leaving Pompeii, we drove north and spent the night in the Sperlonga youth hostel. The following morning, Thursday, 26 September, was lovely and sunny, so we stopped in Terracina and – as this photo by Bill shows – took everything, seats and all, out of the Citroën and laid them out in the sunshine to dry. |
