 Day 20 (4 October 1969) – COPENHAGEN: The building with the impressive tower on the left-hand edge of the photograph was St Nicholas’ church until the end of the 18th century, but it’s now an arts centre. The orange building in the middle of the picture is Thorvaldsen’s museum, which was specially built to display the works of the Danish and Icelandic sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen. |
