Day 46 (30 October 1969) – LUZERN: We left Rapperswil and drove first to Luzern where – to quote my diary – “ we found a parking meter with an unexpired 40 minutes [on it] right next to the Kapellbrucke (i.e., the Chapel Bridge), which is what we wanted to see.”
