 There was light drizzle when I turned left onto Lee Trevino Drive to drive north to US-62/180. At first I thought it odd that a road was named after a sports star who’s still alive, but given that Trevino is regarded as “the greatest Hispanic golfer of all time” and as a “Mexican-American icon”, I can appreciate why he’s honoured in El Paso. |
