 Forty-five minutes later we were near the bottom of the spur. The spot where we would camp for the night is clearly visible as a round patch of dry grass above and to the right of Otto’s head, almost exactly in the middle of the picture. We reached the campsite at 3:23 pm. We had hiked 10.4 kilometres, and it had taken us exactly seven-and-a-half hours to do so. |
