Climbing Mt Meharry |
 Before I met up with Eric Hodge in order to climb Mt Meharry with him, Heather and I had a two-and-a-half week holiday in Western Australia. We went first to Perth, the state’s capital city on the banks of the Swan river. The two tall skyscrapers on the left of the picture are the BHP-Billiton and Rio Tinto buildings, and are a good illustration of the importance of mining (and especially iron-ore mining) in the state. |
