The Routeburn Track


First of all, Heather and I took our car on a Wellington-to-Picton ferry on 18 December 1996, and we then spent three-and-a-half days hiking the St James Walkway. This photograph was taken of us on Sunday evening, 22 December 1996, at the end of our roughly 65-kilometre / 40-mile hike.
