 Architecture / buildings – France: The Louvre Pyramid was designed by the Chinese-American architect, I. M. Pei, and completed in 1989. The pyramid, which is surrounded by three smaller pyramids, is the principal entrance to the Louvre, which is one of the world’s pre-eminent art museums. I took this photograph on 24 September 2006. |
