80 years in 80 photographs |
 1964 I migrated as a “ten pound Pom” to Australia in January 1964, following my parents and younger siblings who had moved to Tasmania in mid-1962. I enrolled as an undergraduate at the University of Tasmania, and was soon active in student politics. I used this picture as my campaign photograph when I somewhat precociously but successfully stood for election to the Students’ Representative Council in mid-1964. |
