 1997 On 6 July 1997, I reached the summit of Denali (then also known as Mt McKinley), 6,194 m / 20,320 ft, the highest mountain in North America. I spent 26 days on Denali; and of all the climbs I’ve done, it’s probably the one of which I’m the most proud. |
