80 years in 80 photographs |
 2021 On 10 April 2021, I broke my left femur in a cycling accident. Roughly three hours after my accident, Heather took this photograph of me lying on a gurney in the emergency department of Wellington’s regional hospital. It’s a place I’d been to before: six-and-a-half years earlier, I’d broken my right tibia and fibula in a climbing accident! Happily, I recovered well – with no serious long-term problems – after both accidents. |
