 Charles Mound is situated north-east of Galena, Illinois. To reach Galena, we drove south-east from Minneapolis to and through Iowa primarily on US federal highway 52. We crossed the Mississippi river in Dubuque, Iowa, and then continued south-east on US-20 to Galena. |
