Hawkeye Point, Iowa |
On 9 August 2013, John Fitch and I visited Hawkeye Point, the highest natural point in Iowa. It’s 1,670 feet / 509 metres above sea-level, and is the 42nd highest of the USA’s 50 state highpoints. Hawkeye Point was my 16th US state highpoint and John's fifth. |
