 After the expedition: A second “Lobuje Legends” reunion was held in Canberra in October 2000, and our third reunion – our 20th anniversary reunion – was held in September 2011 in the Budderoo National Park in New South Wales, which is where this picture was taken. Sitting on the ground from left to right are Jenny Baulis, Dave, Eric, Jon, Norma Little, and Diane; standing from left to right are Rod, Ralph, and me. Sadly, Mike and Geoff were unable to attend our 20th anniversary reunion, and the Covid-19 pandemic put paid to tentative plans for a 30th anniversary reunion. Nevertheless, we still keep in touch with each other, and doubtless will continue to do so for a long time to come. |
