The Milford Track |
 David took this photograph of me in the first hut we stayed in – the Clinton Forks Hut. I‘m wearing all my all-time favourite woollen jersey (or jumper or sweater, depending on which version of the English language you speak). I bought my Icelandic jersey in Denmark in 1977. In addition to wearing it while I was on “the finest walk in the world”, other notable places I’ve worn it include the South Pole, the Arctic Circle, and the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. |
