The Milford Track

The Milford Track is New Zealand’s best-known multi-day walk. It’s frequently called “the finest walk in the world.” Somewhat ironically, then, of the nine New Zealand Great Walks that Heather and I have done, the Milford Track is the only one we’ve not done together. Heather has hiked it twice – first in 1995 and then again in 1999, while David Novitz and I did it in April 1996. This web-album illustrates David’s and my experiences on the Milford Track.
