 The Blue Ridge Parkway is a wonderful road. Like the Natchez Trace Parkway (which I drove on in Mississippi in 2014), it was built during the 1930s Great Depression, and is a national park. Travelling on both parkways has been a delight and privilege: they are jewels in America’s crown. |
