Climbing Mt Rogers |
 When I got back to the Thomas Knob Shelter, I met and had lunch with an Appalachian Trail through-hiker who had set out from Maine on 15 June and was heading home to Georgia. His trail name was Bear Attack (and he was most appropriately sitting below the shelter’s notice about “Recreating in Bear Country”) – so even if I didn’t see a bear during my Mt Rogers climb, at least I saw a Bear Attack! |
