 On Tuesday afternoon, 27 October 2015, I had hiked to the top of Brasstown Bald, the highest mountain in Georgia, and late that afternoon I’d checked in to the Seasons Inn in Blairsville, Georgia, and it thus became “basecamp” for my “assault” on Sassafras Mountain. |
