 LIVING IN JOHANNESBURG – Bobby’s work: An item in the 7 July 1956 edition of the South African Medical Journal announcing that Dr Peter Caswell was “now practicing as a specialist anaesthetist in partnership with Drs [Gerry] Hochschild, [Bobby] Roberts and [Mike] Kramer.” Next to join the practice was Hugh van Hasselt, and finally (during our time in South Africa anyway) – as Bobby wrote in his Memoirs – the partners were “joined by Dennis Glauber, who had already become a well-known entity because of his prowess as a radio ‘quiz king’.” |
