 LIVING IN JOHANNESBURG – Bobby’s work: I have been fortunate to know and become friends with Bobby’s youngest anaesthetics practice partner, Dennis Glauber, who later migrated to the United States and worked at the University of Washington in Seattle. I visited Dennis and his wife Evette in Seattle several times (this photograph, for example, was taken while I was there in July 2007), and I’ve also visited them in California, where they now live. Dennis’ vast general knowledge and sense of humour combine to make him a raconteur par excellence. |
