Thirteen Formative Years |
 HOLIDAYS – Hermanus: Charlie and Stuart on the lawns above Voelklip beach. I do not know when this photograph was taken, but feel that Charlie looks younger in it than in some of the previous pictures taken in Hermanus. As a result, I suspect it could possibly have been taken in early 1952 when Charlie about eight months old. If only photographs had been automatically “date-stamped” seventy years ago as they are now by digital cameras. |
