Climbing Mt Aylmer, 1994

The small ski-equipped plane that Gerry Kennedy and I flew on up to the head of the Tasman Glacier. Hochstetter Dome, the 2,810 metre- / 9,219-feet high peak that Gerry and I (as well as Eric Hodge, Dave Little, John Roberts, Rod Rutledge, and Geoff Seawright) had climbed twelve months earlier, dominates the top right-hand corner of this photograph.
