 Mawenzi’s summit is 5,149 metres / 16,893 feet above sea-level, which means that Mawenzi is not only the second highest peak on Mt Kilimanjaro, but it’s also the third highest mountain in Africa. Indeed, the summit of Mawenzi is a mere fifty metres lower than Mt Kenya. |
