Climbing Mt Sealy, 1994 |
After Gerry Kennedy and I climbed Mt Aylmer on 31 March 1994, Gerry made a quick and, as it turned out, accurate assessment of the likely weather at the head of the Tasman glacier. We hurriedly changed our plans and flew south in order to climb Mt Sealy (2,627 metres / 8,618 feet), which is on the southern edge of the Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park. |
