 HOLIDAYS – Game reserves: Bobby took this photograph of three giraffe in 1956 after we’d left the park and were on our way home. In the sixty years or so since we lived in South Africa, quite a lot of private game reserves have opened up on the borders of the Kruger National Park. For example, Stuart and Patricia have twice been to the Motswari private game reserve, where Stuart has taken some stunningly superb animal photographs, far better than anything Bobby or I ever took in the 1950s or early ‘60s. |
